In memory of Ted

Ted

Ted was one of Pablo’s ex-racehorses, who came to Pablo’s aged 20 years old,  and we believe Ted thoroughly enjoyed his relaxing retirement at Pablo’s.

Ted was a pleasure to care for, very friendly and easy-going and he enjoyed his quiet life. He wasn’t too keen on flies and always wore his fly fringe during the Summer months. Ted also had a special run which we call the ‘sideways canter’ which could be observed at feeding time.

Ted shared his paddock with his two pony friends Prince and Merlin.

In April 2011, at the age of 29 years old, Ted passed away when he was cantering across his field to see his carer, Andrea, when he had a sudden stroke.  On the advice of the vet, Ted was put to sleep and we are all saddened by his sudden loss.   Bless you Ted, you were such a beautiful gentleman and such a character.
