Frankie came to Pablo’s late on a dark rainy night with another pony after they were found running loose on a main road in a Leicestershire village. The police and caring locals had managed to herd them safely in to a car park but as no owner could be found they needed a safe place to stay. Pablo’s founder Carole was the only person still taking phone calls at that time of night. She hastily prepared for their arrival and it was gone 11pm before they were finally bedded down and settled. Both were young colts, unhandled and incredibly nervous so were very challenging to deal with in the early days. Frankie has been gelded and is slowly making progress, but he is the more wary of the two and is sadly very untrusting of people.
