Donations

Here at Pablo’s we rely on the kindness of people to provide donations. We are always in need of unwanted, clothes, shoes, and handbags etc. These contribute hugely to our farrier fund. As you can imagine, with so many horses and ponies in our care, we require the services of our excellent farrier on a regular basis. Many of our rescues arrive at Pablo’s with foot problems, and many of these require specialist care. Therefore, if you can help with bags of unwanted items, we would very much like to hear from you. Please contact Carole on 07745-628684 or carolefielding@gmail.com. You can also contact Sue on sue@stayfree.co.uk. Many thanks.

Harvey

Thanks to a generous donation, we have recently had our lovely young pony Harvey gelded. Harvey is a beautiful Welsh Section B, 3 year old pony, who is ready to be broken in or shown in hand. Anyone interested in fostering Harvey should call Carole on 07745-628684. Any new home would be subject to home checks and references and should be within a 25 mile radius of Pablo’s, here in Long Clawson. A photo of Harvey will follow shortly. Many thanks.

Pablo’s Dog Walk!

It’s that time of year again, when the doggies come out to help the horses. It’s our annual fundraising Dog Walk!

Sunday 9th October 12pm

Join us for a gentle 5 km walk through the village of Long Clawson, meeting and finishing at the village pub the Crown & Plough.

It’s always good fun to see what Gerry will be wearing this year, he gets extra sponsorship for dressing up!

All funds raised go to the continued care of the horses and ponies at the sanctuary. We look forward to seeing you and your doggie friends!

A Big Thank You!

Pablo’s Horse Sanctuary would like to say a big thank you to everyone who attended and participated in last Sunday’s Open Day! Thankfully the weather was kind to us and everyone got the chance to meet and learn more about our residents, as well as treat themselves to something to eat – the cakes proved especially popular! Overall, it was a resounding success, bringing in much needed money, which will help us look after the many beautiful horses and ponies in our care.

As you know, Pablo’s could not exist without the help and selflessness of the people who volunteer and donate. So we are always in need of both. If you would like to donate you can do so by downloading the donation form: Donating by Paypal. If you would like to volunteer you find out more information here: How To Volunteer.

We would also like to take this opportunity to thank Sainsbury’s and Morrisons supermarkets for all the contributions they have made to Pablo’s up to now. And we look forward to welcoming you back to Pablo’s soon.
