Hi Everyone

A big thank you to all those who are joining us to support our annual Waggin ‘n’ Walkin’ Sponsored Walk / Dog Walk for 2013.   However, we still need more participants!  If you are able to join and support us on the day, please see the dedicated tab for more information and download a registration form, or call 01664 820278.  The event is to take place on Saturday 12th October at 2.00pm. The meeting and starting point is at R&R Country store, Thorpe End in Melton Mowbray, for a gentle walk around Melton Country Park. The walk is only 5km and is suitable for all ages and abilities (dogs and owners alike).   It’s a fun and friendly afternoon!

Our volunteer John held a stall at Waltham Charter Fair and raised £30, despite the bad weather which resulted in a low turnout of people at the Fair.  Volunteer Wendy took the Pablo’s New and Nearly New Equine stall to Rearsby Lodge Riding Club on Sunday and  raised £111.00.   A big thank you to Liz Atkis and all of the committee and members for their continued support.   We’d also like to give a hugh  thank you to All Ashes Equestrian Services for washing some rugs for Pablos, your help is much appreciated.

Thank you to Sue Dolby for her very kind cheque donation and donation of equine items in memory of her horse who sadly passed away, and to volunteer Sam who held a psychic night at her home, with Bob Perris, which raised £100, and to The Royal Antediluvian Order of Buffaloes (RAOB) for their support, and to our stars Ken and Ann for their continued support by holding car boot sales and donating the proceeds to Pablos.

We would like to appeal for any volunteers who could help out with looking after some of our very special rescues which are kept at sites around the Melton Mowbray area, alongside with Carole.  If you are able to help out, just a few days a week during the evenings, with the basic care of these beautiful animals, please could you get in touch with Carole.

Have a good week

Hi Everyone

Hope you have been able to enjoy this lovely weather we’ve had over the past week – long may it continue! We would like to thank all friends and supporters who came to our Open Day on August Bank Holiday Sunday, and to those who who have very kindly made donations since then. Pleased be assured that every penny of all donations is spent on the care of the horses and ponies.

Volunteer Wendy has been busy out and about over the past couple of weeks, as she took the Pablos New and Nearly New Equine Stall to the Old Dalby Day on Bank Holiday Monday 26th August, which raised £130.00. On Sunday 1st September Wendy was at Sutton Bonnington Riding Club at Gotham which raised £130.00. A big thank you to Pam and all of the committee and members for their continued support.
