All the horses and ponies are well this week. With the snow and ice now gone, it’s made the yard a little easier to work on and when the Winter sun comes out, it is really quite pleasant.
On Saturday 2nd February, Pablo’s Horse Sanctuary was kindly offered a supermarket collection at the Co-operative Superstore, on Scalford Road, Melton Mowbray and a fantastic £180.60 was raised! A super thank you to all of the super customers who supported Pablo’s, and also to volunteers, John, Mandy, Gayle and Wendy for giving their time on the day.
On Sunday 3rd February, volunteer Wendy took the Pablo’s New and Nearly New Equine stall to Orchard Equestrian Centre in Plungar, where the East Midlands sport Endurance Riding team held their charity ride to raise funds for Ovarian Cancer. A smashing £103 was raised from the stall . A huge thank your to Sue, Richard and Liz for kindly letting us bring our stall along and thank-you to everyone for supporting the stall, and also to those who have supported Pablo’s on Preloved. On Wednesday 6th February, Carole will be speaking about Pablo’s at the Scalford Women’s Institute, at the Scalford Village Hall on Sandy Lane in Scalford. The Scalford Women’s Institute meet every 1st Wednesday of each month at 7.30pm, and we would like to thank them for their kind invitation.
This week would like to give a hugh thank you to Diane Leake from Ruggles Equestrian Ltd for donating such fantastic equine items, for use with the horses and ponies on the yard, and for the New and Nearly New Equine Stall. Diane has also offered to send Pablo’s information with every order to her customers.
